This arrangement creates a rhythmic and undulating pattern, reminiscent of the graphical depiction of waves in both light and sound. In "A year and 95 missing days (2280 hours)", Alicja Kwade deliberately withholds certain clock hands to evoke a poignant reminder of the elusive and irretrievable moments lost to the relentless passage of time.
